*This price is budgetary and applicable to a standard installation. A standard installation covers up to 15m of cabling from your electricity supply, a mini consumer unit, drilling through up to two walls, and fitting your charger without the need for groundworks, underfloor or loft work. We just ask that site access is clear and that a double-pole isolator switch is already in place.

What’s the difference between the tethered and untethered models?
The tethered Seven Pro comes with a permanently attached Type 2 charging cable for quick plug-in convenience. The untethered version features a universal Type 2 socket, giving you flexibility to use your own cable—ideal for multi-vehicle households or fleets.
Is the VCHRGD Seven Pro compatible with all electric vehicles?
Yes. Both the tethered and untethered Seven Pro models are Type 2 compliant and work with all Type 2 electric vehicles and plug-in hybrids sold in the UK and Europe.
How easy is it to install and maintain the Seven Pro?
IThanks to its modular push-fit design, the Seven Pro is quick to install and easy to service. Front-panel components can be swapped without dismantling the whole unit, reducing downtime and maintenance costs. But you’ll still need a fully qualified electrician to carry out the works.
What are the dimensions of the Seven Pro?

Is the Seven Pro compatible with solar power?
Yes. The Seven Pro offers two modes of solar integration: Solar Export, monitoring your main incoming supply and only topping up the vehicle when your export exceeds 6A/1.2kW. Solar Only, which charges exclusively from surplus solar energy for maximum sustainability.
Is the Seven Pro OCPP-compatible?
Yes. The Seven Pro supports OCPP 1.6J, allowing seamless integration with a wide range of third-party back-end systems, fleet management tools, and energy optimisation platforms. Including Powerverse, Wevo Energy, Fuuse, Tap Electric and Clenergy EV.
