VCHRGD partnerships with Octopus Energy and So Energy powering the next chapter in EV Charging
We’re in celebration mode at VCHRGD HQ, delighted to announce we’ve reached two major milestones in our mission to make smart, sustainable charging simple and accessible for all.
Following the 2025 partnership with So Energy’s innovative off-peak So EV tariff, VCHRGD chargers are now also compatible with Octopus Energy’s Intelligent Octopus Go tariff, giving customers more choice and more ways to save.
Both represent an exciting step forward for our installer, fleet and reseller network, unlocking new opportunities to offer customers affordable, greener and smarter charging solutions backed by our reputation for reliability and exceptional support.
Smarter charging, lower costs
For customers, the benefits are clear. Intelligent Octopus Go automatically schedules charging for the cheapest and greenest periods of the day, giving VCHRGD users access to electricity at rates as low as £0.07/kWh*. Meanwhile, So Energy’s new overnight tariff enables EV owners to charge between 12am and 5am for just 6.5p/kWh, one of the most competitive rates on the market, and all powered by 100% renewable electricity.
Together, these tariffs make VCHRGD one of the most accessible charger brands in the UK, giving customers the freedom to choose a tariff that fits their lifestyle and values while helping the grid transition to a cleaner, smarter energy future.
